Maximum Precision. Minimal Effort.

Forget tape measures, manual stops, and margin for error. Our automated saw stop delivers a smart measuring system that revolutionizes how you cut materials. Enter the desired length digitally – the system positions itself in milliseconds with millimeter-level accuracy, ready for the next cut.

Whether you’re working with wood, aluminum, or steel, our saw stop provides:

  • Exact length – every time
  • Faster production – no adjustment time
  • Reduced material waste and fewer errors
  • Seamless integration with our proprietary software

The system is simple to use yet built for tough industrial environments – robust hardware meets intelligent software, designed to make your work easier, faster, and more profitable.

RawStop 2.0

RawStop 2.0 is a fully computerized saw stop that allows you to cut parts with 0.01 mm precision. The system includes the stop unit, optional table, software, mini PC, and sliding carriage.

The stop glides on linear rails for maximum strength and precision. It features closed-loop servo technology, meaning it always knows its position – even if the carriage is hit or moved manually. After impact, the carriage automatically returns to its exact position. The center of the carriage has a parking position, allowing you to fold it away when cutting pieces longer than the table.

Automatic calibration is built in – a rare feature in this class. Most systems require manual measurement between the blade and the carriage at startup, but with RawStop, this is done fully automatically.

The saw stop can be adapted to fit most saws and cutting tables. If you’re unsure whether your saw is compatible, feel free to contact us for assistance.

Saw Stop Length & Table Options

You can choose to purchase the saw stop with or without a table. The unit can be mounted on most standard saw tables using just a few screws.

If you choose to include a table, the total length still refers to the stop unit or carriage length. The table is modular and delivered in sections. By default, we include a section on the left (or right) side.

As shown in the image, the saw stop is mounted on the right side and can be configured in lengths from 1 to 4 meters.

The software for RawStop 2.0 is fully developed in-house by professionals with a background in carpentry. While there are similar solutions on the market, none come close to this price range.

Your license is lifetime and tied to you or your company – we do not use subscription or monthly fees.

The system features probing sensors that make calibration easy – just one button press is all it takes. The stop arm can also be folded up effortlessly, allowing you to cut parts freely when needed.

The software runs on a Windows-based PC and is packed with features, including:

  • Miter cut instructions
  • Parking positions
  • Cut lists for recurring jobs
  • Custom cut positions with memory storage

See the software instructions below for more details.

About the Software

As a carpenter or workshop technician, a large part of your job involves measuring and transferring those measurements to the material to be cut. Traditionally, this means taking a measurement, walking over to the saw, manually marking it, and cutting – often with only approximate results.

With a computerized saw stop, this process becomes much simpler. For example, you can take multiple measurements, write them down, and then enter them into the system to cut with exact precision. You can also save frequently used measurements and access them instantly at the press of a button – saving a significant amount of time during a typical workday.

Cut Lists

If you’re repeatedly cutting the same parts – for example, when building a TV stand – you can create cut lists and load them directly into the software. The program will guide you through the process:

  • For instance: “Cut 3 pieces at 450 mm.”
  • Once you complete those cuts, press “Next” and you’ll see: “Cut 7 pieces at 345 mm, 40 mm wide oak trim.”

You can specify both dimensions and material types for each cut, making the system a powerful assistant in streamlined production.

Preset Positions

If you frequently cut the same dimensions, you can save them as preset positions. With just a single button press, the stop will move to the exact saved position — streamlining repetitive tasks and reducing setup time.

Parking Mode

When cutting parts longer than the saw stop, you can activate a parking position. By selecting this function, the stop will move to a designated location, allowing you to fold the carriage out of the way to accommodate oversized material.

Probing Calibration

We provide simple instructions for setting up the saw blade and stop to respond to each other using a probe sensor. With just one button press, the stop is calibrated to absolute precision.

This is a rare and advanced feature – most saw stops require manual distance measurement between the blade and the stop, which reduces accuracy and increases setup time.

Crown Moulding, Trim, and Skirting Boards

Calculating angles is more complex than it seems. For example, to cut a perfect 90° corner, the saw is set to 45°, and two cuts form the right angle. The same applies to a 45° corner – divide it into two 22.5° cuts.

But not all angles can be halved directly. For instance:

  • An 80° corner cannot be cut at 40° – the correct angle is 50°
  • A 40° corner requires a 70° miter setting
  • A 100° corner requires a 40° miter setting

Historically – and even today – skilled carpenters rely on angle reference tables like the one below to calculate precise cuts for irregular angles.

Automatic Angle Calculations

Calculating angles accurately isn’t possible with a regular calculator — you need a scientific calculator with advanced functions. With RawStop 2.0, all these calculations are handled for you, ensuring perfect angles for every cut.

RawStop 2.0 can also calculate the effective length of angled cuts, allowing you to place the pointed (mitered) edge against the saw stop and still achieve the correct inner-edge measurement — meaning accurate wall lengths, even when working with external corners and double-mitered edges.

Cutting crown moulding can be challenging, as the correct measurement must be taken from either the long or short side of the angle, and even small errors can lead to poor results. With RawStop 2.0, the process becomes easy, fast, and extremely precise.

Software License Terms

Purchasing the software grants you a license to use it with your own saw stops, but it may not be resold or distributed to any third party. The license is tied directly to the purchaser.

You are, of course, allowed to build additional saw stops, but they may only be used by you or your company on a small-scale basis.
