Product Description
We have sold out of all our pumps but new ones will arrive in mid-March. You can pre-order pumps now.
RawVac™ vacuum pumps are selected for CNC vacuum workholding — when you need stable negative pressure in a system where some airflow and leakage may be present (for example with MDF spoilboards and through-cutting). The pumps are oil-free, making the installation cleaner and simpler, with no oil mist and no oil changes.
These are not the same type of pump commonly used for heat pump installation, where oil-lubricated service pumps are typically used to evacuate refrigeration systems. RawVac pumps are built for a different application and operate under different conditions.
What do the numbers mean?
Our pump names are based on nominal airflow (free air) measured in m³/h, which is a common European way of specifying pump capacity.
Higher airflow generally provides more margin in “leaky” setups and porous materials.

Quick Buying Guide
- Tight fixtures / vacuum plates: RawVac 8.5–15
- Spoilboard + through-cutting: RawVac 15–29
- Large surfaces / higher leakage / multiple tables / more margin: RawVac 29
Important Note About Vacuum Workholding
Vacuum holding performance depends not only on the pump, but also on sealing, material porosity, spoilboard condition, and overall leakage in the system. Higher airflow typically improves stability in “leaky” setups, while tight fixtures often work well with smaller pumps.
Compatible With
- RawVac vacuum tables
- MDF spoilboards
- Fixtures and vacuum plates
- CNC machining setups where you want to avoid clamps and toolpath collisions
