About the plate kit
The kit includes laser cut carbon steel plates in 3 mm and 6 mm thickness, depending on function and position. The required HPL spacers for the Z-axis spindle plate are also included.
The steel plates can be ordered with or without powder coating. We powder coat the parts in-house using industrial equipment. Please note that the finish may vary slightly, as these are functional machine parts rather than decorative parts.
Raw Creative logo decals are also included.

Important note
Note that the full side covers are a separate product.
The hardware kits include spacers between the side plates, as shown on the ball screw version of the machine in the image below.
If you choose powder-coated plates, they will be finished in the same colours as shown in the video instructions, using a mix of black and white parts.

This product is supplied as individual components for a DIY CNC build. It is not a finished machine, not a ready-to-use CNC system and not supplied as a safety-certified machine. If the completed machine is used in a workshop, business or workplace environment, the builder/operator is responsible for making sure the final machine meets all applicable safety requirements.
