RawVac™ Modular Vacuum Table System
RawVac XL is a modular vacuum table system where the table modules and accessories are supplied by RawCNC, while the vacuum pump is ordered separately directly from the pump supplier.
This helps reduce shipping costs for large pumps and makes the system easier to adapt to different countries, voltages and machine sizes. The table is built from separate 600 mm wide vacuum modules, available in lengths such as 1000 mm or 1200 mm. You simply choose the number of modules needed for your machine and working area. This makes RawVac XL flexible for anything from smaller CNC setups to larger sheet-size machines.
Vacuum pump recommendation and sourcing
After purchase, we will recommend a vacuum pump matched to your selected RawVac XL system. Through our long-term relationship with our pump supplier, we can connect you directly with them for the pump purchase. Normally, larger industrial pumps are often sold in higher quantities or through business channels, but because we have worked with this supplier for a long time and purchased larger volumes in the past, we can help our customers access the same supplier directly.
You order and pay for the pump directly from the supplier, at supplier price without any markup from RawCNC. The pump is then shipped directly to you. This keeps the system more cost-effective and avoids unnecessary double shipping, import handling and extra cost.
Large vacuum pumps can be heavy, sometimes up to 180 kg. Depending on your needs, you can normally choose between air freight for faster delivery or sea freight for a lower shipping cost. We will explain the options before you order the pump. RawCNC supplies the vacuum table modules, fittings, valves, electrical diagram and the accessories needed for the selected setup.
Specifications and what’s included
RawVac XL is supplied as a modular vacuum table system without vacuum pump. Pump selection, electrical installation and final integration are handled separately.
Recommended vacuum pump:
- 3-phase side channel blower, typically 3–5.5 kW depending on table size, material and leakage level
- High airflow capacity, suitable for MDF spoilboards and vacuum systems where some leakage is expected
- After purchase, we recommend a pump size matched to your selected RawVac XL setup
Included with the RawVac XL table system:
- Modular vacuum table sections
- Table module sizes based on 600 mm width, available in lengths such as 1000 mm or 1200 mm
- Vacuum gauge
- Filter
- Silencer connection / silencer setup depending on selected configuration
- Metal-reinforced feed-throughs for each table section
- Melamine-covered MDF
- Pipes, bends and fittings in suitable dimensions, typically 50 mm and 75 mm depending on setup
- Valves for zone control
- Sealing gasket
- DOL starter box with overload protection, matched to the recommended pump setup
- Electrical diagram and installation guidance
Not included:
- Vacuum pump / side channel blower
- Power cable and final electrical connection
- Electrical installation
Pipework note
The pipework is prepared for the selected number of vacuum table modules, but final pipe lengths may need to be adjusted during installation. Because CNC machines, table frames and module layouts can vary, some pipes may need to be cut to fit the final setup.
We provide the required pipe parts and installation guidance, but please expect some fitting and adjustment when installing the system on your machine.

When Airflow Matters More Than Maximum Vacuum
RawVac XL is developed for large CNC vacuum tables with MDF spoilboards and through-cutting, where the system always operates with a certain amount of air leakage. MDF allows air to pass through, open zones affect the flow, and every through-cut creates new false air. That means a large vacuum table behaves very differently from small, nearly airtight vacuum systems.
In small sealed systems, a high-vacuum pump can often show impressive values on the gauge, but on a larger MDF-based table it is airflow capacity that determines how well the system performs in practice. That is why RawVac XL is built around a high-flow blower with up to 700 m³/h airflow capacity, designed to keep the vacuum stable even under continuous leakage.
Together with zone control and RawVac Gasket, this creates strong and even holding force across a large surface, adapted for real production rather than a completely sealed test setup.
Made to order
RawVac vacuum tables are made to order and produced according to the selected configuration. Returns are not normally accepted once production has started, unless the product is defective or incorrectly delivered.
